every 6th-grader and an
individual career and academic plan
(ICAP)
by 9th grade. The Colorado Department of
Education approved the
rules and guidelines
for these items on January 13, 2010. College In

Have Students Interested in the Military or Taking the
ASVAB?
Students taking the Armed Services Vocation Aptitude Battery
(ASVAB) should record scores in their College In Colorado
portfolio; the ASVAB scores may also be set up as an ICAP activity.
We have compiled
information
to help students record their scores as well as
explore military career and education options. The ASVAB is the
most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world
designed to measure strengths, weaknesses, and potential for future

Batch Account Creation is Here
The School Finance Act of 2009 specified that each 6th grade
student have a CollegeInColorado.org account. College In Colorado
has greatly reduced any additional burden these requirements may
impose with batch account creation.
If a school can create a .csv-formatted file (such as an Excel
spreadsheet) from their Student Information System that contains
the correct student data, CollegeInColorado.org will create,
free-of-charge, an account for each student in the file. Download
step-by-step instructions here
.
