College In Colorado was initiated by the Department of Higher
Education (DHE), which serves the citizens of the state of Colorado
by promoting access to, affordability of, and success in higher
education for all students. College In Colorado is charged with
helping all Coloradans explore career and education pathways, break
down barriers to postsecondary attainment, and create a plan for
their postsecondary and workforce success.
A cornerstone of the campaign, www.CollegeInColorado.org, offers
a free, one-stop resource to help students and parents plan, apply
and pay for college.
The College In Colorado team reaches out to students, parents,
educators and workforce centers through ongoing events and training
opportunities, as well as providing practical tools to assist every
student in Colorado in furthering their education past high

with everything they need to know about career and job exploration
and planning, selecting high school courses, choosing and applying
to colleges, and improving their financial IQ:
- Money101 helps students and families learn how
to take charge of their finances in 10 online courses;
- College Admissions Tool assists visitors in
understanding Colorado college admissions standards. Users may
compare their progress to college admissions standards and create a
plan to meet the requirements for the college of their choice.
- Colorado Training Providers is the State's
comprehensive list of training and education providers and their
programs, including whether or not the program is eligible to offer
federal money to students to take the program.
- Own Your Future Colorado assists ex-offenders
with life, job and education planning as they re-enter
ASSET informs students who lack proof of residency how they may
qualify for in-state tuition and the College Opportunity Fund
stipend at Colorado public colleges;
- College Application Month is the go-to resource
to take part in College Application Month each October;
- Plan Your Health Career helps adults to explore
opportunities and career pathways in health occupations.
Regional sessions, single topic webinars and Individual
Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) design seminars are
offered to help educators, parents and others learn about the tools
and resources available from College In Colorado. Use this online order form to review upcoming
