Daniels Fund Scholarship Program

The Daniels Scholarship Program provides a four-year annually-renewable college scholarship for graduating high school seniors in Colorado who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities. Scholars may attend any nonprofit accredited school in the United States. Obtain more information and apply today.

Fiesta Pageant Scholarships

The Colorado State Fair Fiesta Committee will award a $2,500 scholarship to the Fiesta Queen and $1,500, $1,250 and $1,000 scholarships to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd attendants respectively. The scholarships are payable to any Colorado institution of higher learning upon proof of full-time enrollment. Cardiac Kids at Childrens Hospital Scholarships

The Cardiac Kids chapter of Children's Hospital in Denver is offering two $1,000 scholarships; one to a graduating senior who has received treatment for a Congenital Heart Defect or Acquired Heart Related condition, one to a sibling. Review requirements and apply by March 21, 2016.

Helen M. McLoraine Scholarship

This program provides scholarships of up to $10,000 per year for foster care youth who are emancipated or are in the process of preparing to emancipate from the foster care system. Review eligiblity requirements and apply by March 24, 2016.

Apply Now for an APCA Scholarship

Asian Pacific Islanders for Professional and Community Advancement (APCA), a resource group of AT&T, awards annual scholarships worth $2,000 each to college-bound high school students. Full-time, graduating seniors of any ethnic or cultural background, that have a minumum 3.4 GPA and meet other eligibiliy requirements, are encouraged to apply by January 31, 2016.

Hispanic Annual Salute (HAS) Scholarships

Hispanic Annual Salute honors outstanding Hispanic student volunteers by pledging a minimum of $20,000 in scholarships each year to a select number of high school seniors who live by the principle of philanthropy in their community. Applications are due by Friday, December 4, 2015

Matching Grant Program

Students, tell your parent(s) about the Matching Grant Program offered by CollegeInvest. For every dollar eligible account holders save to their CollegeInvest 529 Savings Account, the Grant will match it - up to $400 per year for five years. Check out eligibility requirements and apply before December 31st!

United Realty Students

Students may win scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 by writing a short essay that best answers the question "How Do I Invest in My Future?". Scholarships are awarded every two months.

The Community Foundation

The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado maintains a list of scholarship opportunities in that region. Review requirements and apply by March 28, 2014 (deadline extended!).

Helen M. McLoraine Scholarship - up to $10,000 per year

Eligible students may now apply for the Helen M. McLoraine Scholarship Program for Foster Care and Emancipating Youth through the Denver Foundation. 2014 Summer Program at Crazy Horse

Accepted Native high school seniors will receive a scholarship (up to $8,500) to cover summer tuition, fees, books, internship and 50% of room and board. Jump start or continue your postsecondary work at The Indian University of North America. Review details and apply by March 31, 2014.

Gwendolyn S. Duran Memorial Scholarship

The Colorado Association of Legal Support Staff established this scholarship to help students in need that are pursuing a higher education degree. One or more scholarship of up to $1,000 in total will be awarded to student(s) that enroll in a legal program. View full eligibility information and apply by April 15, 2014.

Colorado Ski Authority Annual Scholarship

CSA awards $1,000 each year to any registered Colorado university, college or junior college student who exemplifie the CSA spirit; combining creativity, intelligence, drive and responsibility. Find out more and complete the application by December 15, 2013.

CollegeInvest Matching Grant Program

The CollegeInvest Matching Grant Program is one more reason to feel good about living in Colorado! Designed to help lower- to middle-income Colorado families save money for higher education, this program can provide eligible account holders with matching funds - up to $500 each year for up to five years - when they open a CollegeInvest 529 College Savings Account. Apply by December 31, 2013.

Greenhouse Scholars

Greenhouse Scholars provides comprehensive personal and financial support to high-performing, under-resourced college students. The 2014 Scholar Application deadline is December 10, 2013. Review eligibility requirements and learn more here.

Boettcher Scholarships

This prestigious program, the oldest in the state, has awarded more than $60 million in scholarship since 1952. Merit-based awards provide what is essentially a full-ride to any four-year institution in Colorado. This year the Foundation has eliminated class rank and test scores as criteria for applying, so more students may be able to apply. Review information and apply by November 1 of your senior year.

Adams State Offers SLV Promise Award

Officials of Adams State University unveiled a plan to fully cover tuition and fees for qualified low-income students from the San Luis Valley region.

Starting next year, qualifying students will receive sufficient financial aid to cover tuition and fees plus $1,350 a year for other educational expenses. Students can continue to receive the aid in subsequent years if they maintain satisfactory grade-point averages and meet certain course-completion requirements.

2013-14 College Access Scholarship

The application period for the College Access Scholarship is nowopen. Up to 300 eligible students will receive up to $2,500 each to use toward their 2013-2014 college expenses. Totalling more than $700,000 in awards, the College Access Scholarship is to help students achieve their college goals. Click here for complete information -application deadline is August 1, 2013.

CollegeInvest 529 Scholarship

The application period for the 2013-2014 CollegeInvest 529 ScholarshipNew window icon is now open. The scholarship will be awarded to Colorado residents from low- to middle-income families who have planned for higher education by saving through a CollegeInvest 529 College Savings Plan. Each eligible student will be awarded $2,000 for the 2013-2014 school year, renewable each year they continue to be eligible, up to 4 years. Review eligibility requirements and apply by July 31, 2013.

Counselor Corps Loan Forgiveness Program

The application period is now open for the Colorado's School Counselor Corps Loan Forgiveness Program. Participants selected for the Program may be eligible for loan forgiveness benefits of up to $2,000 per year for up to two academic years of consecutive eligible employment regardless of the lender.

The Counselor Corps Loan Forgiveness Program is intended for full-time, licensed, professional counselors in Counselor Corps grantee schools, serving students between grades 7 through 12, and having worked a minimum of one full academic year in this position. Americas Childrens Education (ACE) Scholarship

The ACE Foundation Scholarship Program will award 4 renewable $1,000 scholarships to students that are high school graduates or equivalent, or that will graduate before August 30, 2013 or are students currently attending college who have not yet earned a degree. Check out all the criteria and apply by April 16, 2013.

Team CIC Scholarship

To win one of the six Team CIC Scholarships, students must write a one-page essay identifying how one of the seven Umbrella of Success traits helped them overcome adversity. Applications are due by April 18, 2013.

STEM Shout Out Scholarships

Math and science aren't boring school subjects and can bring anexciting career to your future! IBM, 850KOA and College In Colorado awarded three STEM Shout Out Scholarships ($1000, $750 and $500) to creative students. JFK Profiles in Courage Essay Contest

President John F. Kennedy respected and admired acts of political courage. The Profile in Courage Essay Contest invites United States high school students to consider the concept of political courage by writing an essay on a U.S. elected official who has chosen to do what is right, rather than what is expedient.

Black Sheriffs Protective Association Scholarships

Recycling Scholarship Opportunity

The Colorado Association for Recycling announces its fourth annual Summit Scholarship Program. The scholarship is available to high school and college students in the state to attend, all expenses paid, the Colorado Summit for Recycling June 10 - 12 at the Pueblo Convention Center in Pueblo. CSU President's Leadership Program

Applications for ESCAPE Program Grants Due Oct. 28

Eliminating Student Costs for Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Exams (ESCAPE) is a federal grant program that will pay exam fees for eligible students taking AP or IB 2012 exams. High school AP and IB coordinators must submit an application for funds providing an estimate of eligible students and the number of 2012 exams that would be applied to the grant funds.

Congratulations to the Belly Flop Splashdown WinnersPDF icon!

College In Colorado teamed up with Water World and 92.5 The Wolf on June 23, 2011 for the Belly Flop Splashdown. Students from across the state entered for a chance to win a scholarship. The top three male and top three female belly floppers received a $1,000, $750 and $500 college scholarship.

Throughout the morning participants made an initial jump off a low platform, and were judged based on performance and entertainment value. The top five contestants advanced to the higher platform for finals, with one flopper earning the title of Best Belly Flopper, and six students walking away with money for college. Hispanic Scholarship Fund/PEIERLS Rising Star Scholarship ProgramPDF icon

Scholarship award is up to $2,500; review eligibility requirements and apply by February 15, 2011!

The HSF/PEIERLS Rising Star Scholarship Program is a scholarship available to current high school seniors residing in Texas or Colorado. Awards are $2,500 for students entering a four-year university or $1,250 for those enrolling in a community college for the 2011-2012 academic year. Selected students may receive up to $2,500 for four academicyears for a possible total award of $10,000.

College Application Month Scholarships

Throughout October, we received 630 entries from Colorado students, which was a record amount for any College In Colorado scholarship promotion. Each week, we also gave away Cold Stone Creamery ice cream coupons to each student who completed the weekly scholarship task. CollegeInvest, Colorado's not-for-profit higher education financing resource, is helping middle- to lower-income Colorado families make saving for college a little easier through the Matching Grant ProgramLink opens to new window. The program matches, dollar-for-dollar, contributions qualifying families make to their CollegeInvest 529 savings plans, up to $500 annually for up to five consecutive years. Apply for the United States Senate Youth Program

The United States Senate Youth Program is a unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interest in pursuing career in public service. The 49th annual program will be held in Washington D.C. from March 5 - 12, 2011. Students selected will spend a week in D.C with all transportation, hotel and meals provided by the William Randolph Hearst Foundations. Every year the 9Kids Who Care program honors nine outstanding Colorado kids who go far beyond the ordinary in serving their community. 9NEWS and College In Colorado are proud to honor these great kids. In February, the 9Kids Who Care recipientsNew window icon were awarded $900 scholarship from College In Colorado during a luncheon held in their honor.

Denver Nuggets

Three students from Denver public schools received a $1,500 college scholarship from College In Colorado on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. The students were chosen based on an essay contest College In Colorado promoted during October, in partnership with the Denver Nuggets. More than ninety applications were received from students in third through eighth grade.

College Application Week Scholarship

Hundreds of students applied to college during our first annual College Application Week. Submit confirmation of your application and be entered to win a $1,000 scholarship from College In Colorado.

9Kids Who Care

9Kids Who Care recognizes outstanding Colorado youth for their volunteer activities and contributions to family, school and community. Each of the nine winners will be recognized at a ceremony in Denver at 9News studios and will receive a $900 scholarship from College In Colorado. Nominations closed Friday, November 28, 2008! Teach Grant Program

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program Link opens to new window provides grants of up to $4,000 per year to students who intend to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families.

The first TEACH Grants will be awarded to eligible students for the 2008-2009 school year. In exchange for receiving a TEACH Grant, you must agree to serve as a full-time teacher for at least four academic years in a high-need Link opens to new window field in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves low-income students.

The CollegeInvest Opportunity Scholarship

CollegeInvest will award $1,000 scholarships to 38 randomly- selected undergraduates who will attend a Colorado institution of higher education full-time in Fall of 2008. There are no GPA requirements and no essays to write. Apply online at www.collegeinvest.org Link opens to new window.

The CollegeInvest Service Scholarship

27 scholarships of $6,000 each, awarded over a two-year period, will be given to Colorado students who give back to their community. The scholarships will be awarded to randomly-selected undergraduates who will attend a Colorado institution of higher education full-time. Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) Scholarship

National Smart Grant

Beginning with the 2006-2007 financial aid award year students may be eligible to receive a National SMART Grant Link opens to new window of $4,000 for each of the third and fourth academic years of study.
