Where we are today
College In Colorado's core federal funding ends June 30, 2018.
However, through the generosity of partners including College
Assist, Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, Colorado
Workforce Development Council and Colorado Department of Human
Services, CIC will continued to be offered free of charge to the
State through June 30, 2019.
What We're Working Toward
CIC has proposed a shared funding model to partner agencies and
organizations along with the opportunity for those partners to
review, assess and design updated products and services. The
Colorado Department of Higher Education and CIC are working
collaboratively with partnersto jointly identify the most valuable
education, training and career planning tools and resources that
will meet the needs of all stakeholders. Agency partners have also
been asked to commmit to a sustained financial investment. If you

During June a Request for Proposal (RFP) went out to many
vendors that may have technology solutions of interest to the
multi-agency partnership and the State. Vendors submitted proposals
on August 31 and the Evaluation Committee will be reviewing the
proposals during October.
CIC needs your support to devise the best possible strategies
going forward including how to provide an individual career and
academic planning system that will meet your needs. Please let

- What career, postsecondary and job planning features are most
important to you in an online product?
- What related services, such as implementation training or
materials, are most important to you?
- What are your biggest needs right now when it comes to
completing requirements in the career, postsecondary and job
planning areas, or in data collection, work-based learning or the

options will you pursue in its place?
